My mortgage was recently sold to this boiler room operation of thugs, bullies, and street corner hustlers. While my mortgage may not be paid on the first day of the month, I have never been 30 days late due to my pay cycle.

I have tried to explain this multiple times since Green Tree acquired my mortgage in April of this year, 2014. On the 7th of every month, they start blowing up my phones. If they don't have their money by the 10th, they start calling neighbors, friends, & family (how they get these numbers is amazing) and asking if my home is abandoned or if I am having troubles. All I want is for my old mortgage company to take my mortgage back from these people.

Their web site is a joke, nobody knows anything and they make it so hard for you to pay your mortgage that I wonder if they are actually trying to cause late payments and foreclosures. Green tree is the absolute WORST! Perhaps if they would "Un-Restrict" theirname & number when they call they would have a better chance of someone answering when they call.

I'd like to be able to know who I am speaking with just like they know who they are calling. If they have nothing to hide, why hide their name and number on caller ID?

This "company" is the worst of the worst. The reason they are harassing you and everyone else for payment if it is not received on the 1st of the month is because the make money in interest by floating your money until they have to pay the investors by the date they are required to each month.

They may not have to pay the investor until the 20th of each month, so the soon they receive your payment, the more interest they can accrue until they are required to pay the investor. Multiply this by the millions of mortgages they service and you get the idea. GT is a Collection Agency. Their mindset is to collect debt.

Period. They have entered into the Mortgage Servicing industry as a means to collect more debt. They intend to collect this debt and make money by any means possible. Legally or illegally.

They are about to be taken to task and held accountable for they actions by the CFPB and FTC. They are currently negotiating a settlement. This is not being disclosed to the general public. In the end the will end up paying millions of dollars in fines, but the reality is that they don't care.

The millions they pay are nothing to the billions they make. Their ultimate goal is to make as much money of you and others before they steal your house from under you by nuclear and dining yip with hidden fees that you cannot pay or do. It notice.

Knowledge is power. Arm yourself with it accordingly.

If you check their employment ads high monthly bonus potentials due to employees are paid bonuses for collecting certain dollar amounts and customer service reps are paid for referring customers to the insurance agency reps and sell insurance policies, nothing stating good customer service skills and helping the customer. These accounts are Fannie Mae and Freddie mac and government loans and they are being serviced by Green Tree and if the reps do not hit goal they are fired, Why in the world reps are paid 400 hundred to 1000 dollars in bonuses a month beside their wages, the biggest reason for poor service and pushy reps.

Reps have to cheat and go thru accounts as quick as possible to earn the bonuses. In other words supervisors will say take the money and run after speaking with a customer.

The fault lies with Bill Ashley , Joel Hanks and Randy Shannon the big boys of green tree and I would love to see the bonuses they are paid monthly just like the managers. instead Green Tree should be hiring qualified workers paid decent wages instead of bonuses to reps for good service, that do their job correctly, follow the regulations for QA and actually do their jobs correctly, but that would be taking money away from the big boys, and the directors, who does not care how the consumer feels , just greedy corporate , and these companies should not be allowed to service these accounts.

BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL WITH THIS MAFIA. Consider them AL CAPONE or WORSE.

They have goons that WILL VISIT your house. They WILL change your LOCKS and lock you out of your house. They WILL FORECLOSE on you on ANY MINOR TECHNICALITY. They RECORD YOUR EVERY CALL or conversation with them ALWAYS.

DO NOT SAY ANYTHING on the phone - EVER. Handle them like you would handle NUCLEAR WASTE or a dozen KING COBRAS. Be specially careful with your / your family's personal safety. They have the money, means and contacts to get rid of you one way or the other.

Sooner or later they will get you. You have been warned. DO NOT TRUST ANY GOVERNMENT AGENCY - they are in bed with each other and NONE will come to your rescue or offer to help you.

They simply FORWARD your messages to Green Tree. You have been warned.
