I HAVE TO FIGHT & NUMEROUS CONTACTING TO GET MY INSURANCE MONEY TO FIX HOUSE FROM FLOOD.

IN JAN 2014 A WATER PIPE BUSTED & FLOODED DOWNSTAIRS WHILE OUT OF TOWN. MY OWN INSURANCE COMPANY CAME AFTER CLEAN UP COMPANY FINISHED. I GOT A CHECK IN FULL IN MARCH. WE SENT CHECK TO GREENTREE APRIL 2014. CLEAN UP CREW PUT A LIEN AGAINST OUR HOUSE IN JULY 2014 CUZ GREENTREE KEPT JERKING THEM AROUND ABOUT GETTING PAID EVEN THO THEY HAD ALL MY INSURANCE MONEY WHICH INCLUDED IN FULL FOR CLEANUP COMPANY. I WENT THRU 3 CONTRACTORS CUZ THEY DECIDED MAY NOT GET PAID. HERE IT IS APRIL 2015. WALLS DONE. FLOORS DONE. PART MONEY THEY SENT CONTRACTOR BEEN SPENT. NOW FIGHTING GREENTREE TO GET FUNDS TO BUY KITCHEN CABINETS. MY DAD CALLED, SHE HUNG UP ON HIM. I CALLED, ANOTHER SHE HUNG UP IN MY FACE WHEN I ASKED HER NAME. SHE DIDN'T LIKE US SAYING "WHY SHOULD WE PAY FOR A HOUSE THAT NOBODY IS LIVING IN CUZ THEY HOLDING MONEY THAT ISN'T THEIRS, IT'S TO FIX THE HOUSE." MAYBE BY 2016 WE CAN LIVE IN OUR HOUSE.

Try contacting your insurance agent because there is something they can do if greed tree is screwing with the money...if you have one of greed tree insurance policies then I think you may be screwed ...

I haaaate dealing with Greentee. Customer Service Representative arevery rude, don't sound time they even card to help. I could sit here and type my bad experiences but from the lokks of all the bad reviews and the support group page specifically for customers who have experienced the same...Greentree has to be aware and not prepared to change the opinion of the custumer. I used to have Citi mortgage then they sold me to Greentree Greentree is horrible they call me every day they say I OWe payment that was owed to Citi mortgage I've gotten a letter after letter from city mortgage saying I'm paid to date I owe nothing but Greentrees that says I am late a payment I'm not, they keep charging late payments. WORST MORTGAGE SERVICE COMPANY EVER

I have never had a late payment with them but they make it extremely difficult to even pay on your mortgage. If you will not sign up for auto pay the charge extra fees every month. there customer service is a joke. i have been trying to change the date of withdrawl for auto payments for months. they are telling me that they cannot change any payment information 10 days before or after payment date. even during the small window in between we have still been unable to get the payment date changed. Stay away from these guys if you can.

Green Tree Needs to be Investigated for their practices

Green Tree Servicing the absolutely the worse. My loans were sold to them, and it has been a night mere since. I have been yelled at, disrespected, told to leave the keys on the counter and they will pick them up, mind you my loan was not ever over 30 days past due. They are a bunch of bullies, and are extremely rude. I am not sure whey they are even in business. Every person I know that have their loan with Green Tree is unsatisfied. I explained that my payment would be late because I had some expenses with the home that I had to address. I was told that they could not accept my late payment unless I fax the receipt showing proof that there are repairs. I am not 90 days past, nor am I 60 days - this took place in March 2015, and I was trying to do a double payment in April - pay March and April at the same time. They refused to accept my payment until they get the fax. Why as consumers we have to put up with being bullied, talked down to and all of the disrespect. I have been spoken to like I was an animal by one of their reps, and I tried complaining to a manager, and he was just as bad. The fish stinks from the head down. If there is someone that can provide information as to how we can file a complaint, please advise.

Not even my acct..being harrassed

This company is horrible.. I have had 9 calls in the last 3 weeks from them. It is on an account that isn't even mine. They searched and found that I live close to one of their clients and got my home number that way. It is a new number and the account they are calling about is over 15 years old. I have told them numerous times to stop calling me and they continue to do so. I just filed a complaint against them with the Federal Trade Comm...and have to other places to file complaints with. They need to be shut down.

Can they do this?

After having my mortgage through Citi for years, I got a letter in December stating Greentree is now my mortgage servicer. Long story short, I missed a payment. (I cannot believe you cannot pay by phone or online with them unless you sign up with your bank account.) Anyway, since they have this strange rule of a payment being considered late from day 2 of the month (which is impossible) they send me a letter of default, and tell me that I must make due on my payment (which Went through on the 37 day mark) and also on old late payment fees that came from my old company Citi, and If I dont send them thousands of dollars by April 16th, that they will be foreclosing on my home. They sent me a letter after they received that payment saying they receved it and applied it, but will still go forward with the beginnings of foreclosure if I dont send them all of the late payment fees! My mortgage payments will be completely current as of Monday. My question is can they really try to foreclose on my home over late fees? I thought foreclosure happened when you were three months late, which has never happened, ever. Can someone please tell me if this is even possible? I have never heard of anything like this in my life. If anyone has had a similar experience, or advice, please tell me. Ive tried calling them but got screamed at that they were going to take my house. How can that be? Is this a scare tactic?? God I hope so!

Oh my god i have the same problem had stroke 6 months ago and i couldn't work.i am behind on my march but April hectically have time until April 16.please anyone any idea.Same they call me 10 times i told them having 6 shots on my spine i have severed damage on my neck also told them please give me i week i heal i will call you they call me next day and next day again 8:15 and 7:30 please update me.

I too am now having problems with them. How are they getting away with this kind of business practice? How can they take someone's checks and not cash them? I mailed in two payments for January and February by USPS overnight delivery. They reported me late on the credit bureaus for February when the payment was clearly received by February 28, 2015 and I mailed my March payment in March 21, but yet they are reporting me late for March. How can that happen? I am writing a complaint to the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau, Better BB, and Federal Trade Commission

GMAC sold my loan to these sorry ***. I registered for my online account 2 years ago and haven't used it for a while, but have tried to access the account in last 3 months and cannot. I even sent them a message asking why I wasn't able to access my account online without a response. I never had these problems with GMAC AND I WISH TO GOD THEY HAD NEVER SOLD MY MORTGAGE TO THIS COMPANY!!! What company does the kind of things they do? This is what they call doing business? They like to call, call, call,harass and ask silly questions, but when you try t contact them they don't respond. *** POOR business practices.

Can NOT get account balance/payoff

I Called Green Tree Servicing to get my account balance and/or pay-off. I also went online and no where is my account balance and/or pay-off amount. I chose the "get payoff" link online and it replied it was not available. I then called Green Tree and when I asked for it over the phone, I was advised it would have to be "ordered" and mailed or faxed to me. Why would I NOT have access to MY account balance or pay-off at ANY time I request it? Seriously? What type of modern business can NOT supply an account balance? This is absurd!

Green Tree, Truth in Lending; NOT

Entered into a Loan Modification in 2013. In 2014 received demand letter for Escrow Shortage. Upon review of the loan docs the monthly estimated escrow amount was approximately 60% of the actual funds needed given the assessment of property value and insurance premiums at that time. Thus, mortgage was increased $250.month. Today we received a demand notice for escrow funds for 2012-**** that were clearly included in the original Note per the loan documents. Repeated issues of claims that GT did not receive tax and insurance documentation, which have been proven to be false according to the County and the Insurance Carrier. Truth is not a core value of GT and in hindsight after reading complaints about this company it appears that I am not alone. The government agency has proven to be a non-advocate for us as the homeowners. Beware of Green Tree.

My insurance actually went down and they went up on my payments saying my insurance premium went up which is a lie. It went up only according to their escrow analysis which the numbers are all wrong. I have proof.

I couldn't make a payment and my home wasn't in foreclosure but sent because I wouldn't allow the rep to talk to me in a nasty tone

I called to make a payment but the rep wouldn't allow because i didn't have my debit card to do the transaction. I was told by my acc rep that I could do a check by phone payment but this rep wouldn't allow me to. she was so nasty until I had to return in a screaming tone to stop her. She put me on hold and never returned my phone call. i tried several times to reach out to my account rep but never get returned phone calls. Instead of your reps trying to help me save my home they were so nasty and evil until they sent it to an attorney. No one in your company would give me info to the attorney's office, I had to research it and for myself. When I called to tell Greentree that I paid the money to the Attorney's office they were speechless. I hate the Loss Mitigation Department and I will do all that is within my powers to have an investigation on what I experienced. I too have the recorded conversations for my records and I plan on airing them on social media so that the world can know that Greentree Servicing lacks professionality.If I could have gotten in touch with the department on that Friday I could've avoided paying the Attorney fees and the worry of losing my home dealing withe unprofessional Reps.

Greentree SUCKS

This is the worst company I have ever had the "pleasure" of dealing with complete *** on the phone, so rude, I became behind on my payment and at first I was trying to work with them, they demanded a payment on the 6th I CLEARLY told them I did not have the funds until the following week, they tried to tell me it would be better for them to try to process a payment and let it get rejected by the bank for NSF, ridiculous way to do business but they took themoney and I was short on my other bills they dont care, they call non stop and leave rude msgs but when you have the pleasure of speaking with Scott he insists he knows your situation and tell you what you are going to do, what I am going to do is never pay this *** company another dime, let them foreclose which they also told me they would make that extremely difficult for me. there is no pleasing them you do what they ask and then its something else, they will drive you nuts with the multiple calls. I am saving all of them and their rude *** messages to take to court for harassment.

Green Tree Servicing is AWFUL

My account was recently transferred from CitiMortgage to Green Tree Servicing. This woman named Shantevia calls my home approximately 8AM on Saturday. Mind you, the payment was sent to the address on the enclosed statement. First, she addressed me by my 1st name as if we are friends, then demands that I give her my check card information so that another payment can be processed. No way!!! That issue was resolved however, when I attempted to call Green Tree, I am unable to speak with a human being. What kind of business operation is this???? I'm very dissatisfied with Green Tree. I plan to submit a complaint to Freddie Mac!!!
